Corvette C3 Rear Tail Light Conversion Mounting


Done properly this is can be reversed without visible damage to your bumper.

INSTRUCTIONS:  
1. Remove the original light units from the bumper.

2. Drill out the rivets (if so applied) and remove any remaining light hardware.

3. Cut the two drain field pipe couplers in half to form shorter rings.

4. Attach two "L" brackets on each side of the cylinder - Check for fit into recess.

5. Center the cylinder in the recess. Mark holes though "L " brackets into the bumper wall.

6. Drill the holes for the "L" brackets and mount the cylinder.

7. Feed wiring pigtail though back of bumper

8. Lubricate grommet with soapy water and press light into grommet until it just barely is inside.

9. Attach wiring pigtail.

10. Slide grommet and light into recess. Work around the perimeter with your fingers pushing grommet on to the cylinder.

11. Press light unit fully into grommet.		 |
